Elucidator System Hardware Requirements

The following hardware requirements for server and client are:

Server Hardware Requirements

• 2 minimum concurrent users

• CPU: 4 dual-core AMD Opteron or Intel Xeon Processor with EM64T extensions

• 64GB RAM recommended, 32GB minimum

• Linux - A 64-bit, x86-based CPU that supports the x86-64 and/or EM64T instruction sets running SuSE Linux Enterprise Server 9 or Red Hat Enterprise Linux ES v4.0 Update 4 or greater;
  Single server

• Oracle Database Enterprise Edition™ v10g - 64 bit

Additional Server Hardware Comments

• Configurations can use any compatible high performance storage array or Storage Area Network (SAN).

• You must not have other software applications running on the hardware on which the Elucidator system is installed unless they have been authorized by Rosetta Biosoftware.

Client Hardware Requirements

• Intel Pentium® 4, Celeron®, Celeron® D, Celeron® M, Pentium® M processor or equivalent

• Browser: Microsoft® Internet Explorer® 5.0 (minimum)

• 125 MB free hard drive space, 1GB RAM (1.5 GB recommended)

• MS Windows 2000 or Windows XP

• Minimum number of displayable colors: 65,536

• Minimum monitor resolution: 1,024 x 768 (1,280 x 1,024 recommended)

• Minimum network connectivity requirements between user computers and the server: 10BaseT network connection (100BaseT recommended for best performance)
